All of us at Pasadena Family Dentistry are excited to introduce you to Katherine, our newest dental hygienist! Katherine started helping our patients take care of their smiles back in January, and now that she’s settled in, we want to share a few things about her.
The Best Part of Being a Dental Hygienist
There’s lots of things to love about the dental field, and dental hygienists have a particularly impactful job. Katherine loves helping patients learn new tricks and techniques for maintaining their oral health. Like many of us at Pasadena Family Dentistry, she recognizes that the mouth is the gateway to the rest of the body. Brushing, flossing, and regular checkups and cleanings go a long way towards promoting overall health, and Katherine is proud to be a part of that.
Education & Experience
Though she’s new to our office, Katherine has been in the dental field for 5 years. She earned her undergraduate degree from San Jacinto College in Houston, and completed dental school at UT Health Houston School of Dentistry. She enjoys collaborating with her peers and is currently an officer in the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association, an organization dedicated to education, advocacy, and community. She started seeing patients in 2025.
Favorite Activities Outside the Office
When she’s not helping our patients smile brighter, Katherine likes to work on craft projects, try new restaurants, and, of course, spend time with her daughter and husband. She also admits that she has a major sweet tooth, so if you’re the same way, don’t worry – Katherine gets it!
Don’t Forget to Say Hello During Your Next Visit
Katherine is already proving to be an excellent addition to our team, so please join us in giving her a warm welcome. Don’t forget to say hello the next time you visit!
